What it costs to run
Building a site is quoted per project, because a four page site for a bar and a booking system for a garage are not the same job and pretending otherwise helps nobody. Tell us what you need and you get a number before anything starts.
What you can see up front is the monthly, because that is the part most agencies keep vague.
What every plan includes
This is the platform, and it is the same whichever plan you are on. The tiers below only change how much of our time comes with it.
- Hosting, domain and DNS
- Fast UK hosting, SSL, and your DNS managed properly in Cloudflare. Your domain stays registered in your name, so you can walk away with it whenever you like.
- Backups and monitoring
- Daily backups kept off-site, uptime monitoring, and security updates applied as they land. If your site goes down at 2am we find out, not you.
- Your CMS
- Opening hours, prices, staff, what's on, contact details. Edit them yourself from your dashboard as often as you like. Never counted, never charged for.
- All four analytics tools
- Visitor numbers, Google and Bing search performance, and how people actually behave on your pages, pulled into one screen. No extra subscriptions, no logins to remember.
- Platform improvements
- Everything we build into the platform lands on your site too. You are not paying for a snapshot of 2026, and you never get an upgrade invoice for work we were doing anyway.
How much of our time
Pick by how often your site actually changes. You can move between plans at any time, and we will tell you if you are on the wrong one.
Essential
£39a month
One change request a month
Changes done within three working days
An annual review
Active
£89a month
Four change requests a month
Changes done within two working days
A quarterly review
Partner
£169a month
Ten change requests a month
Changes done by the next working day
A monthly review, and we suggest improvements rather than waiting to be asked
All prices are what you pay. We are not VAT registered, so there is nothing to add on at the end.
There is no minimum term on a rolling plan. Where we have spread a build cost across the monthly, the term is written into your quote and we will have said so before you signed anything.
What a change request actually means
Every agency sells "changes included" and almost none of them tell you what that covers until you ask for something. Here is ours, before you buy.
- What counts as a change
- One defined task of up to about half an hour. New wording, a photo swap, a price update, a new listing, a form field. If you can describe it in a sentence it is almost certainly a change.
- What does not count
- Anything you can do yourself in your CMS. Opening hours, prices, staff, what's on, contact details. Those are unlimited on every plan and never come out of your allowance.
- What sits outside a plan
- New pages, new sections, redesigns and anything that needs a third party connecting. We quote those before starting, at £75 an hour, and you approve the number first.
- How the allowance works
- It resets on the first of the month and unused requests do not roll over. If a request turns out to be bigger than it looked, we tell you before we start it, never after.
We do not sell an SEO retainer
Getting a local business found on Google is mostly a setup job. Profile, listings, structured data, tracking, making sure the right pages exist. We do that once, properly, as part of building your site.
After that there genuinely is not a few hundred pounds a month of honest work in a six page website. Anyone charging you that is selling you a report. Ongoing improvements happen through your change requests like anything else, and you can see for yourself in your dashboard whether they worked.
If you want new content regularly, that is a real deliverable and we price it as one, per piece, quoted before we write it.
Local search setup
Included when we build your site. Google Business Profile created and filled in properly, verified in Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, structured data on your site, listings on the directories that actually matter, and tracking confirmed working.
Yes, Wix is cheaper
Wix starts around £9 a month and Squarespace around £12. We are roughly three times that and there is no point pretending otherwise. So here is the honest version of the difference.
On a builder, you are the web designer. You choose the template, write the copy, crop the photos, work out why the mobile version looks wrong, and decide what to do when enquiries dry up. The subscription is not the cost of a good site. The evenings are.
We are not selling you software. We are selling you not having to do that. The bits that change weekly, your hours, your prices, your listings, you still edit yourself in seconds, because nobody should wait three days for a phone number to change. Everything else is ours.
If your site is a simple presence you will rarely touch, a builder is genuinely the sensible answer and we will tell you so. If your website is how people find you and get in touch, and you have not opened it in eight months, that is the gap we fill.
